REMARKABLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF THE SCHOOL
• GREEN INITIATIVES
The Eco- Club and The Horticulture Club of our School have created an Eco-friendly infrastructure in the school and has worked towards transforming the green practices in the school resulting in creating environmental awareness and consciousness among the students. In the school, the students have planted more than hundreds of snake plants. Students have also been taught about water management techniques. This has aspired for a cleaner and greener future by empowering today’s young minds.
• SWATCHH VIDHYALAYA PURUSKAR 2018
Shri Rajnath Singh, Hon'ble Home Minister, presented the award to Shri Pankaj Sharma, Vice Principal, AAV Kitchner Road for the best swatch Vidyalaya 2018 in New Delhi Area.
*• SELF DEFENCE TRAINING *
A major initiative taken by the school is the introduction of self-defense training for the girl students of our school. The Class of self-defense was conducted offline as well as online by the instructors of Delhi Police. The students were taught various self-defense techniques to prepare them to be self-reliant in an unsafe environment. An essay competition was conducted by Delhi police in which the students of our school participated and the winners were awarded cash prizes.
*• CREATIVE CORNER *
The students of our school get an opportunity to show their artistic and creative skills through various activities conducted in the school from time to time. For this various competitions are being organised in which the students participate and their talents are displayed in the school.
